I have good news for all of us involved in the MoA II project. First, I
have been negotiating the award amount with NEH and they have graciously
consented to provide an additional $58K in funding! After consulting with
the participants, we have agreed that the extra funds will be used to fully
restore the project evaluation and the testbed. We still will digitizing a
reduced number of objects (2,500 - 3,000 each).
In addition, the NEH has agreed to a later start date of July 1st, 1998
(the old date was May 1st). We've been making progress here, so we may
actually be a bit ahead of schedule.
Now that I have the official award letter from NEH, we'll be sending out
subcontracts to you in the near future.
