Bernie, one question about this very good news. Will each institution be
getting a set amount of money for digitizing, and we will figure out how
many objects we can digitize from that amount, or should we look for 2,500
- 3,000 images to digitize, rather than the 4,000 we originally proposed,
and assume that the money to pay for these will be available? (You may
remember that we estimated scanning would be $3.50 to $9.00 an image,
depending on size, nature, and condition of the original).
