Just a word on activities at Berkeley, and a repeat of my previous plea
for databases.
Rick has been working on Java tools, and is aiming to have a release of a
first iteration available for review at the end of January. The first
iteration is based on the proposed high level use cases document, which he
mailed out recently. Stay tuned!
Jerry has written a Visual Basic program which goes through the database
and produces XLM encoded MOA2 objects auto-magically.
In order to test Jerry's program, and in order to test Rick's tools (and
thereby generate discussion in the community about what tools -- and
metadata -- are most needed) we are going to need a variety of MOA2
objects, which come out of (drum roll) YOUR databases.
To date, we have received only the database from Penn State. We really
need the other databases and additional feedback on the database. If
everything is PERFECT, we need to hear that, too.
Thanks very much.
