Emma Goldman has always been my
personal hero--the single figure in U.S. history I most admire. Oh,
the great old gal had plenty of faults, but her brave, tenacious
devotion to alleviating the suffering of the poor and breaking down
the barriers that separate people, remains a model for us all to
emulate.
