December 4: A searchable database of recent literature on all aspects of the California wine industry. In a separate database, about 30,000 records are available for searching that extends the indexing back to 1849.

May 17: Professor Howard Besser is known for many things (for example, as one of the foremost authorities on digital images and metadata), and for anyone who knows him it comes as no surprise that he has one of the largest t-shirt collections around. So what better project for his library school students than to digitize t-shirt art and catalog it? Yes, indeed.

January 5: Today the completely redesigned (from the ground up) site is unveiled, with searching and browsing enhancements, a new look, and a new URL (http://lii.org/), although SunSITE still hosts it and the old address will still get you there.
